What this website collects, and what it does not.
This notice describes exactly what happens when you use this website and when you send us an enquiry. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

Please do not send medical details through this website
Our enquiry form is a general contact form. It is not a secure medical channel. Please do not include diagnoses, medication lists, insurance or Medicaid numbers, Social Security numbers, or detailed health history in it. Tell us those things on the phone or at the home visit instead, where we can protect them properly.
What we collect
Only what you type into the enquiry form, which is:
- Your name
- Your phone number
- Which service you are asking about
- Anything you choose to write in the free text box
Nothing else. The website does not ask for an address, a date of birth, a diagnosis, an insurance number or any document.
What we do not do
- We do not use cookies
- We do not run analytics or any tracking script
- We do not use advertising or marketing pixels
- We do not store anything in your browser
- We do not sell, rent or share your details with anyone for marketing
- We do not add you to a mailing list
These are statements about how this website is actually built, not aspirations. There is no tracking code in it.
How your enquiry reaches us
When you submit the form, your answers are sent to our enquiries mailbox as an email. If your device opens your own email app with the message ready to send, that is expected: the message travels as ordinary email, which is not encrypted end to end. That is another reason to keep sensitive detail out of it.
Who can see it
The people at Steady Compassion who handle enquiries and arrange visits. We do not pass your enquiry to any other organisation without asking you first, unless we are required to by law or unless someone is at risk of serious harm.
How long we keep it
If you become a participant, your enquiry becomes part of your care record and is kept for as long as the law and our funders require. If you do not, we delete the enquiry once it is clearly no longer needed. Steady Compassion to confirm retention period
One thing that is loaded from elsewhere
This site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. That means Google receives your IP address so it can serve the font files. It does not set a cookie for this and we do not receive anything back from Google about you. If you would rather that did not happen, tell us and we will host the fonts ourselves.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Just call or email and say so. You do not need to give a reason and it will not affect the support you receive.
Children
Our services are for adults. This website is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If we change how any of this works, we will change this page and update the date at the top.
